Requirements for sailing without a licence
To rent a no-licence boat in Blanes you only need to be at least 18 years old and present your ID or passport. No boating qualification is required. Before departure, our team provides a practical 15-minute briefing where you will learn to operate the engine, basic anchoring manoeuvres and maritime safety rules. All our no-licence boats have a maximum of 15 HP, allowing safe and easy navigation close to the coast.
Season and timetables
The boating season in Blanes runs from April to October. We offer three time slots: morning (9:00-13:00), afternoon (14:00-18:00) and full day (9:00-18:00). June and September are ideal for sailing: pleasant temperatures, calm seas and fewer crowds. July and August are peak season with the best swimming conditions but higher demand, so we recommend booking in advance.
What is included
No-licence boat rentals include fuel, boat and occupant insurance, approved safety equipment (life jackets, fire extinguisher, flares), sun canopy and bathing ladder. Some models also include a Bluetooth speaker. For licensed boats and the private skippered excursion, fuel is NOT included and is paid separately at the port fuel station.

We accept last-minute bookings whenever boats are free.
